Amends Connecticut General Statutes section 53-341b(b) to expand exemptions from body armor purchase restrictions, effective October 1, 2019.

Adds firefighters and authorized officials of municipal fire departments or volunteer fire companies to the list of persons who may purchase body armor without restriction.

Permits advanced emergency medical technicians, emergency medical responders, emergency medical technicians, and paramedics to purchase body armor without restriction.

Allows authorized officials of emergency medical service organizations licensed or certified under chapter 368d to purchase body armor on behalf of their organizations.

Maintains existing exemptions for law enforcement, military members, National Guard, armed forces reserve, judicial branch officials, and other authorized government personnel.
