Department of Developmental Services must annually evaluate the needs of eligible persons with intellectual disability who are turning twenty-one years of age and determine the projected cost of providing day, employment and other support services.

Department of Developmental Services must provide day, employment and other support services to eligible persons with intellectual disability immediately following the end of the school year in which they turn twenty-one years of age.

Commissioner of Developmental Services, in consultation with the Commissioner of Social Services, must adjust payments to nonprofit private provider organizations within available appropriations, providing annual pro-rata increases based on direct care employee salaries.

Department of Developmental Services must establish a training and development advisory committee to develop training guidelines and improve the level of training for direct care workers serving persons with intellectual disability.
