Inmates may earn risk reduction credits for adhering to offender accountability plans, completing eligible programs and activities, and demonstrating good conduct, effective October 1, 2019.

Good conduct and obedience to institutional rules alone are insufficient to earn credits; inmates must fully adhere to their offender accountability plans.

The Commissioner shall revoke all or part of earned credits if an inmate fails to adhere to their accountability plan or tests positive on a drug test.

The Commissioner may discretionally revoke all or part of earned credits for other misconduct, insubordination, refusal to participate in recommended programs, or other good cause.

Any credit loss ordered before sufficient credits are earned shall be deducted from future credits earned by the inmate.
