Amends title 38a of the general statutes to require insurance companies to tender payment directly to counsel for Medicare beneficiaries in specified circumstances.

Applies when a beneficiary sustained a bodily injury in Connecticut and received health care services resulting from that injury.

Requires direct payment to counsel when Medicare conditionally tendered payment to the beneficiary for the cost of services and the insurance company is deemed liable for those costs in a legal proceeding.
