Amends Connecticut General Statutes Section 7-536(a) to expand the definition of "local capital improvement project" effective July 1, 2019

Adds category (Y) to eligible uses of Local Capital Improvement Fund grants for hazardous tree removal or trimming of "nonutility" related hazardous branches, limbs and trees on municipal property or within a municipal right-of-way

Maintains that local capital improvement projects include only capital expenditures and repairs incident to reconstruction and renovation, excluding ordinary repairs and maintenance

Applies to municipalities including towns, cities, boroughs, and consolidated town and city or consolidated town and borough entities
