HB 6664 Summary

• Requires contractors and subcontractors applying for prequalification with the Department of Administrative Services to disclose occupational safety and health act violations in their applications.

• Adds a new requirement that applicants must state whether they have been cited for violations of any state occupational safety and health act, the federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, or any standards/orders/regulations under such acts during the five-year period preceding the application.

• Requires applicants to provide information on whether any occupational safety and health violations have been abated or remedied.

• Effective October 1, 2019, amending section 4a-100(c) of the general statutes.
