Requires public employers to honor the terms of each employee's payroll deduction authorization as signed by the employee.

Employees may only revoke payroll deduction authorizations pursuant to the terms specified in the authorization they signed.

Deductions begin the pay period after the employer receives notification of the authorization.

Requests to authorize, revoke, or change payroll deductions must be directed to the union rather than the employer.

Unions are not required to provide employers a copy of employee authorizations unless a dispute arises over the authorization's existence or terms, and unions must indemnify employers for claims related to such deductions.
