Office of Victim Services within the Judicial Department, in consultation with the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence, must compile domestic violence services and resources information by December 1, 2019, and provide it to the Department of Education.

Compiled information must include referrals to counseling, shelter services, medical services, domestic abuse hotlines, legal counseling, mental health care, financial assistance, and procedures for voluntary and confidential identification of eligibility for these services.

Department of Education must publish the compiled information on its website by January 1, 2020, and annually update it based on revisions provided by the Office of Victim Services.

Starting with the school year beginning July 1, 2020, local and regional boards of education must disseminate this information to students or parents/guardians who express feeling unsafe at home due to domestic violence, and to parents/guardians authorizing transfer of student education records to another school.

Office of Victim Services must conduct annual reviews of the information and notify the Department of Education of any necessary revisions.
