Permits on-premises alcohol license holders to operate automated beverage dispensing machines that require activation by a payment card controlled by the permittee.

Machines may dispense beer, cider not exceeding 6% alcohol by volume, and wine only to authorized employees or to patrons aged 21+ who provide government-issued identification matching the payment card name.

Permittees or their employees must record verification that customers are 21 years of age or older.

Machines are limited to dispensing maximum 32 ounces of beer or cider per serving or 10 ounces of wine before the payment card must be reactivated by the permittee or employee.

Act takes effect upon passage.
