Allows armed forces members who are nonresidents of Connecticut to participate in enrollment lotteries for charter schools if they and their student will establish Connecticut residency prior to the school year, upon providing military orders and written notice of intent to relocate.

Permits armed forces members who are nonresidents to participate in enrollment lotteries for interdistrict magnet schools under the same conditions as charter schools, requiring military orders and written notice of intended relocation.

Effective October 1, 2019, amending sections 10-66bb and 10-264l of the general statutes regarding charter school and magnet school enrollment procedures.
