Establishes a working group to study Connecticut's criminal procedure laws, with minimum review of Title 54 of the general statutes to recommend legislative changes.

Working group consists of six members with criminal procedure expertise: one each appointed by the House Speaker, Senate President Pro Tempore, House Majority Leader, Senate Majority Leader, House Minority Leader, and Senate Minority Leader.

Working group must submit findings and recommendations report to the joint standing committee on judiciary no later than January 1, 2020.

Working group terminates on the date it submits its report or January 1, 2020, whichever is later.

Takes effect immediately upon passage.
