• Establishes a working group to study Connecticut's civil procedure laws under Title 51 and Chapter 54 of the general statutes.

• Working group consists of six members appointed by legislative leadership: one each from the House Speaker, Senate President Pro Tempore, House Majority Leader, Senate Majority Leader, House Minority Leader, and Senate Minority Leader.

• Working group must receive, consider, and prepare comments and recommendations on proposed changes to state civil procedure laws.

• Working group must submit findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee on judiciary no later than February 1, 2020.

• Working group terminates upon submission of its report or February 1, 2020, whichever is later.
