Allows licensed pharmacists to administer influenza vaccine to persons aged 12-17 with parental or guardian consent, in addition to existing authority to vaccinate adults.

Requires administration to be pursuant to an order from a licensed health care provider and in compliance with regulations adopted by the Commissioner of Consumer Protection.

Mandates pharmacists complete an immunization training program covering pre-administration screening, vaccine storage and handling, injection techniques, recordkeeping, vaccine safety, CPR, basic cardiac life support, and adverse event reporting.

Requires qualifying training programs to be accredited by the National Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, or other appropriate national accrediting bodies.

Takes effect October 1, 2019.
