Amends section 17b-112 of the general statutes to extend temporary family assistance benefits by up to twelve months for program participants who obtain employment.

Applies the benefit extension when a participant's job income exceeds ninety per cent of the program's payment standard.

Designed to incentivize temporary family assistance recipients to seek and maintain employment by allowing continued benefit receipt during the transition to self-sufficiency.
