Moderators must record absentee ballot counts separately by time of count on individual returns for each voting district and provide a separate record of absentee votes cast for each candidate.

When counting is complete, moderators shall publicly declare results and deliver returns to the head moderator with tabulator tapes or copies in photocopy, digital scan, or digital photograph format.

Returns must show separately the tabulator vote and absentee vote with totals, and moderators must attach additional tabulator tapes or copies to official returns.

Municipal clerks shall preserve depository envelopes with rejected ballots for 60 days and counted ballots for 180 days after elections, with envelopes only openable by court order or State Elections Enforcement Commission subpoena.

Moderators must publicly announce all remaining election results within 48 hours after polls close, reading candidate names with ballot designations and absentee votes, allowing public comparison with tabulator results and corrections.
