Department of Education shall conduct a study of student enrollment in and graduation from middle college programs, early college high school, Connecticut Early College Opportunity programs, and dual enrollment programs.

Study shall review how data relating to student enrollment and graduation from these programs is reported by local and regional boards of education and collected in the state-wide public school information system.

Study shall examine whether graduation data from these programs can be segregated at the school and district level from total graduation data.

Department must submit a report on findings and any recommendations for legislation to the joint standing committee on education by January 1, 2020.

Act takes effect upon passage.
