Real estate broker applicants must complete 60 hours of real estate principles and practices, 15 hours of legal compliance, 15 hours of brokerage principles, and two 15-hour elective courses, with all hours available as either classroom or online study (effective July 1, 2019).

Regulations prohibit disapproving schools or courses solely because they are offered or taught online or by electronic means; instructor approval is not required.
