• Licensed occupational therapists providing services to children in HUSKY A may enroll as independent Medicaid providers and bill for self-care management and motor skills therapy, effective July 1, 2019.

• Commissioner of Social Services shall compensate local/regional school boards and occupational therapists providing Medicaid-eligible services in the birth-to-three program at the independent group fee schedule rate.

• Occupational therapists must conduct quarterly audits by submitting documentation verifying client attendance and associated billing, and receive annual training on new billing requirements.

• Department of Children and Families must screen all children 36 months or younger substantiated as abuse or neglect victims twice annually using the Ages and Stages-Social/Emotional Questionnaires.

• Department must refer screened children with developmental or social-emotional delays to the birth-to-three program or Help Me Grow prevention program, and submit annual reports to the legislature on screening and referral outcomes.
