Commissioner of Transportation shall convey a parcel of state land to the City of Waterbury at 140 Brookdale Lane (Lot 8, Block 114, Tax Assessor's Map 420) for only the administrative costs of conveyance.

Parcel is approximately 0.11 acre and must be used for community garden purposes managed by a neighborhood association, with approval required from the State Properties Review Board.

Parcel reverts to the state if the City of Waterbury fails to use it for community garden purposes, does not retain full ownership, or leases all or any portion of the land.

State Properties Review Board must complete its review within 30 days of receiving a proposed agreement from the Department of Transportation.

State Treasurer shall execute the deed with provisions to carry out the community garden purposes, while Commissioner of Transportation retains responsibility for all other aspects of the conveyance.
