Requires individual and group health insurance policies to cover immunizations recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Family Physicians, and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Mandates coverage for immunizations with recommendations from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including at least a twenty-minute consultation with an authorized health care provider.

Applies to health insurance policies covering prescription drugs that are delivered, issued, renewed, amended or continued in Connecticut.

Becomes effective January 1, 2021 for both individual policies (section 38a-492r) and group policies (section 38a-518r).
