Repeals and replaces Section 26-66 of Connecticut general statutes to authorize the commissioner to adopt hunting regulations effective October 1, 2020.

Permits the commissioner to specify that hunters wear fluorescent orange or pink clothing, establishing the time periods and types of clothing required.

Removes the January 1, 1989 effective date restriction that previously applied to fluorescent clothing requirements.

Maintains commissioner authority to regulate all other hunting practices including seasons, bag limits, weapons, methods, and safety protocols.
