Prohibits unlicensed persons from practicing nursing or providing nursing-related services unless licensed, registered, or authorized under Connecticut General Statutes chapters 378 or 378a, effective July 1, 2020.

Prevents unlicensed individuals from using the title "nurse" or associated initials, or advertising services as a "nurse."

Requires licensed and registered nurses to use their complete professional title and prohibits abbreviating titles to simply "nurse."

Exempts nursing students enrolled in State Board of Examiners for Nursing-approved programs and persons holding temporary permits from these restrictions.

Allows individuals to continue performing any acts they are otherwise licensed or authorized to perform under state law.
