• Repeals and replaces subsection (c) of Connecticut General Statute section 13b-376 effective October 1, 2020

• Establishes the Operation Lifesaver Committee within the Department of Transportation

• Committee consists of the Commissioner of Transportation (or designee) serving as chair, Commissioner of Emergency Services and Public Protection (or designee), and Commissioner of Motor Vehicles (or designee)

• Committee shall meet at such times as it deems necessary

• Makes a technical correction to existing transportation statute language
