Office of Early Childhood must develop a one-page document with instructions and best practices for preventing heatstroke-related deaths in motor vehicles by December 1, 2020

Document must be distributed electronically to all child care centers, group child care homes, and family child care homes, and posted on the Office's website

Operators of child care facilities must post the document in a conspicuous place near each entrance and exit starting January 1, 2020

Child care facility operators must provide a copy of the document to parents and guardians of each enrolled child by May 1, 2021, and annually thereafter

Section takes effect July 1, 2020
