Establishes a task force to study health insurance coverage for peer support services and examine means to increase such coverage in Connecticut.

Task force composition includes 10 members: two each appointed by the House Speaker and Senate President Pro Tempore, one each by House and Senate majority leaders, one each by House and Senate minority leaders, the Insurance Commissioner (or designee), and two appointed by the Governor.

Members appointed by legislative leadership may be General Assembly members; initial appointments must be made within 30 days of the act's effective date.

House Speaker and Senate President Pro Tempore shall select task force chairpersons, who must schedule the first meeting within 60 days of the act's effective date.

Task force must submit findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee on insurance no later than January 1, 2021, and shall terminate upon report submission or January 1, 2021, whichever is later.
