• Establishes a task force to study health insurance coverage for undocumented immigrants in Connecticut, including examination of means to promote coverage and obstacles to increasing such coverage.

• Task force consists of 11 members: two each appointed by House Speaker and Senate President Pro Tempore; one each from House Majority Leader, Senate Majority Leader, House Minority Leader, and Senate Minority Leader; the Insurance Commissioner or designee; and two appointed by the Governor.

• Initial appointments must be made within 30 days of the bill's effective date, with the first meeting scheduled within 60 days; members appointed by legislative leaders may be General Assembly members.

• Administrative staff of the joint standing committee having cognizance of insurance matters shall serve as the task force's administrative staff.

• Task force must submit findings and recommendations to the joint standing insurance committee by January 1, 2021, and automatically terminates upon report submission or January 1, 2021, whichever is later.
