Department of Public Health shall administer the Connecticut School Health Survey to high school students biennially beginning July 1, 2020, based on the CDC's Youth Risk Behavior Survey.

Department shall randomly select participating high schools each year and provide guidance on survey administration, completion timeframe, and result submission.

Department of Public Health, in consultation with Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, Office of Early Childhood, Department of Children and Families, Department of Education, and other agencies, may develop additional survey questions addressing state-specific health concerns.

Child Advocate must develop questions by October 1, 2020, designed to assess youths' risk of being victims of sexual assault or misconduct by an adult, which shall be included in the survey.
