Allows advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) licensed in Connecticut to practice independently after completing three years and 2,000 hours of collaborative practice with a physician.

Permits APRNs relocating to Connecticut who obtained their initial registered nurse license without examination in another state to count out-of-state physician collaboration time toward the three-year requirement instead of requiring collaboration with a Connecticut physician.

Requires APRNs practicing independently to maintain documentation of their collaborative practice hours for at least three years and submit written notice to the Commissioner of Public Health before beginning independent practice.

Mandates the Commissioner of Public Health publish an annual list by December 1st of APRNs authorized to practice without physician collaboration.

Takes effect October 1, 2020.
