• Commissioner of Social Services shall conduct a study of the state's long-term care needs to determine whether existing programs and strategies are sufficient

• Study must include data on seniors aged 65+ in 2019 and projected for 2023, residents with disabilities requiring long-term care in 2019 and projected for 2023, and projections for all persons requiring long-term care in 2023

• Study must track residents moved from institutional settings to home and community-based settings under the Money Follows the Person demonstration project for calendar years 2015-2019, inclusive

• Study must document savings realized in state expenditures on long-term care related to the Money Follows the Person demonstration project from 2015-2019

• Commissioner must report study results to joint standing committees on aging and human services by July 1, 2021, and may include recommendations for addressing gaps in long-term care provision and improving access
