Amends section 7-536(a) of Connecticut General Statutes to add hazardous tree removal and trimming as an eligible use of Local Capital Improvement Fund grants, effective July 1, 2020

Permits municipalities to use these grants for removal and trimming of nonutility-related hazardous trees, tree limbs, and tree branches on municipal property or within municipal rights-of-way

Defines "local capital improvement project" to include tree-related work as capital expenditures rather than ordinary maintenance, making them eligible for state grant funding

Expands the list of 25 eligible project categories (A through Y) that municipalities can fund through the Local Capital Improvement Fund program
