The Commissioner of Veterans Affairs shall conduct a study of tax abatements currently available to veterans as defined in Connecticut General Statutes section 27-103

Study must determine whether the amounts of existing veterans' tax abatements should be increased

Study must determine whether a tax abatement incentive program should be established to attract veterans employed in Connecticut but residing outside the state to relocate to the state

Commissioner shall report findings to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of military and veterans' affairs on or before January 1, 2021

Act takes effect upon passage
