Department of Consumer Protection must establish and maintain a "no sales solicitation calls" listing for consumers who do not wish to receive unsolicited telemarketing calls, effective July 1, 2020.

Department may contract with a private vendor that has maintained national "no sales solicitation calls" listings for more than two years, and the vendor must provide the listing in printed hard copy and other formats at costs not exceeding production costs.

Consumers can request inclusion on the listing by calling a toll-free number or other methods prescribed by the commissioner, and must be deleted upon written request.

Department must update the listing at least quarterly and make it available to telephone solicitors and other persons upon request.

Telemarketers must inform consumers during sales calls that they may request their telephone numbers be added to the "no sales solicitation calls" listing, and must add the number within three business days of the consumer's request.
