Establishes a task force upon publication of the USDA's Final Rule on simplifying meal service and monitoring requirements in the National School Lunch Program and National School Breakfast Program to examine the rule's impact on student health and nutrition in Connecticut schools.

Task force composition includes two members appointed by the House Speaker, two by the Senate President Pro Tempore, one each from House and Senate majority leaders, one each from House and Senate minority leaders, and chairpersons, vice-chairpersons, and ranking members of the joint standing committee on children.

All task force appointments must be made within 30 days of Federal Register publication, with the first meeting scheduled within 60 days and task force members eligible to include General Assembly legislators.

Task force must submit findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee on children within 180 days of the first meeting, at which point the task force terminates.

Administrative staff of the joint standing committee on children shall provide support to the task force.
