State Board of Education shall study the feasibility of establishing a virtual school for elementary and secondary education to serve children of active duty armed forces members transitioning from school districts in other states.

Study must examine whether a virtual school would provide educational continuity for military children transferring to Connecticut school districts, the types of curricula available, and whether credits from out-of-state virtual schools would be accepted by Connecticut districts.

State Board of Education must submit findings and recommendations to the joint standing committees on education and military and veterans' affairs by January 1, 2021.
