Prohibits health care institutions from requiring cognitive testing of health care providers solely based on age as a condition of initial employment or maintaining employment or privileges.

Allows cognitive testing during initial employment only if the institution has a policy requiring all prospective employees to take such tests regardless of age.

Defines "health care provider" as individuals licensed under Connecticut general statutes chapters 370-373, 375-383b, and 384a-384c.

Defines "cognitive test" as an evaluation measuring task performance to assess cognitive functioning and establish existence and severity of cognitive impairments.

Takes effect from passage upon enactment.
