The Department of Public Health shall evaluate the potential impact of Connecticut becoming a member of the Nurse Licensure Compact and develop a membership plan.

The Commissioner of Public Health must report findings to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly with cognizance over public health matters by January 1, 2021.

The report shall follow the procedures outlined in section 11-4a of the Connecticut general statutes.

This act takes effect upon passage and creates a new statutory section.
