Allows the state forest fire warden to temporarily supplement state forest fire control personnel with emergency workers who meet National Incident Management System: Wildland Fire Qualification System Guide standards, with the Department of Administrative Services assisting in developing appropriate worker classifications.

Updates section 29-2 to replace references to "he," "him," and "said" with "the commissioner" when describing the Commissioner of Emergency Services and Public Protection's duties regarding the Division of State Police.

Updates section 29-18a to replace "policemen" with "police officers" and pronouns with "the commissioner" when describing the Commissioner of Emergency Services and Public Protection's authority to appoint special police officers for public assistance fraud investigation.

Repeals section 12-570b of the general statutes, which relates to an obsolete lottery statute.

All changes take effect upon passage.
