Amend Section 54-36i of the general statutes to retain drug assets forfeiture revolving account funds at the end of each fiscal year instead of reverting them to the General Fund.

Allocate retained drug assets forfeiture funds to the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services for inpatient treatment services for drug-dependent persons at department-operated or contracted facilities.

Require the Probate Court Administrator to prepare and distribute informational materials about Probate Court procedures that assist in securing necessary medical treatment for drug-dependent persons, within available appropriations.

Purpose is to combat opioid abuse and addiction.
