Commissioner of Consumer Protection shall conduct a study on methods to strengthen prohibitions on predatory and unsolicited telemarketing practices.

Study shall examine the feasibility of prohibiting unsolicited telephonic sales calls for selling automobile warranties without the consumer's prior express written consent.

Commissioner must submit a report to the joint standing committee on general law no later than February 1, 2022.

Report shall include findings from the study and any recommendations for related legislation.
