Requires individual and group health insurance policies to cover immunizations recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Family Physicians, and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, effective January 1, 2022

Mandates coverage for immunizations with recommendations from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including at least a 20-minute consultation between the patient and an authorized health care provider

Applies to health insurance policies that provide coverage for prescription drugs and cover the specified types of health insurance products under section 38a-469

Amends both individual health insurance policies (section 38a-492r) and group health insurance policies (section 38a-518r) with identical requirements
