Department of Education must establish uniform, state-wide standards for distance learning and conduct annual reviews of how school boards implement these standards

Students with 504 plans and IEPs must receive in-person instruction and cannot be required to participate in distance learning unless the school demonstrates their educational requirements can be met remotely

School boards must designate the first three inclement weather days as traditional snow days without distance learning requirements; subsequent weather days may use distance learning and count toward the 180-day school year requirement

State-supported teacher training in distance learning must be provided at no cost to towns
