Prohibits local and regional boards of education, the Board of Regents for Higher Education, and the Board of Trustees of the University of Connecticut from adopting or using Native American mascots, nicknames, logos, letterheads, or team names in schools under their jurisdiction.

Applies to any name, symbol, or image that depicts or refers to a Native American tribe, individual, custom, or tradition.

Takes effect for the school year commencing July 1, 2021, and applies to all subsequent school years.

Requires amendments to titles 10 and 10a of the general statutes to enforce the prohibition.
