Ranked-choice voting system would allow voters to rank candidates in order of preference rather than selecting only one

Tabulation would proceed in sequential rounds, with last-place candidates eliminated each round until one candidate receives over 50% of votes

Candidate receiving over 50% of votes cast would be deemed elected to office
