Repeals 2019 amendments to Connecticut General Statutes section 54-192h that currently protect individuals from federal immigration detainers in five categories: those with pending criminal charges, outstanding arrest warrants, identified gang members, those subject to final deportation orders, and those presenting unacceptable public safety risks.

Aims to allow state and local law enforcement to cooperate with federal immigration authorities in detaining undocumented individuals accused of serious crimes.
