All lottery advertisements for games under sections 12-563a and 12-800 to 12-818 must include a prominent and clear statement of the average chances of winning per ticket.

The requirement to display odds applies only to advertisements in newspapers, magazines, brochures, posters, and television or radio advertisements lasting thirty seconds or longer for one game.

The lottery corporation must implement a code of standards by October 1, 1999, prohibiting advertisements from denigrating nonlottery players or praising lottery players.

The corporation cannot publish photographs of lottery winners on its website without prior written consent from the winner.

Winners may request removal from the published winners list on the corporation's website, and such removal must occur within five days of the request.
