Establishes a task force to study Connecticut's public safety answering points system and make recommendations for consolidating these facilities while maintaining public safety standards

Task force must consider state consolidation goals, regional definitions, collective bargaining agreement impacts, dispatcher staffing issues, consolidation timelines, facility locations, telecommunicator training standards, and governance structures

Task force membership includes 18 members representing municipalities, labor organizations, police chiefs, fire fighters, emergency medical services, state police, and various legislative committees, appointed by House and Senate leadership

Task force shall submit an interim report by February 1, 2022, and a final report by January 1, 2023, with findings and recommendations to the joint standing committees on public safety and planning and development

Task force shall terminate upon submission of the final report or January 1, 2023, whichever is later
