Municipalities requiring notarized landlord verification for renters' rebate applications must exempt renters who previously had verification notarized for the same property rental

Municipalities cannot delay submission of qualified renter applications to the Office of Policy and Management if the renter misses the notarization deadline

Applications cannot be delayed if the renter misses the submission deadline due to illness or incapacitation, as evidenced by a certificate from a physician or advanced practice registered nurse

Effective date: July 1, 2021, amending Section 12-170f(a) of the general statutes
