Amends Connecticut General Statutes Section 46a-51 to add two new definitions to the state's discrimination and human rights laws, effective from passage.

Defines "Race" to include ethnic traits historically associated with race, including hair texture and protective hairstyles.

Defines "Protective hairstyles" as wigs, headwraps, and hairstyles such as individual braids, cornrows, locs, twists, Bantu knots, afros, and afro puffs.

Expands protections under Connecticut's Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities to prevent discrimination based on natural hair and protective hairstyles in employment and other covered areas.
