Department of Children and Families shall develop documents by December 1, 2021, detailing behavioral and mental health resources available to children in each mental health region, including provider contact information, locations, and service types, plus National Suicide Prevention Lifeline information.

Behavioral Health Partnership Oversight Council shall make documents available on its website and distribute them electronically to all hospitals with emergency departments and local and regional boards of education.

Hospital emergency departments must provide discharged children's parents or guardians a copy of the applicable resource document starting January 1, 2022, in printed form or electronic health record, plus email notification.

Local and regional boards of education shall post the resource documents on their websites by January 1, 2022, and distribute them to health and safety course students and to all parents and guardians at least semiannually in September and May.

Department of Children and Families shall review and update documents annually beginning December 1, 2022, with updated versions distributed through the same channels.
