Permits the Canaan Fire District to add certain tax-exempt properties to its taxable grand list through an annual district meeting called under section 7-327 of the general statutes

Applies to properties that would otherwise be exempt under subdivisions (59), (60), (70), and (76) of section 12-81 of the general statutes

Effective October 1, 2021, and applicable to assessment years beginning on or after October 1, 2021

Allows the fire district to override state property tax exemption provisions, special acts, municipal charters, and local ordinances regarding these specific property categories
